i've been through my share of different postmen and postwomen, but none compare to the postlady. i've never met anyone so enthusiastic to deliver junk mail and care to have a brief conversation. my nicknames include pookums, pookie, and booboo.

i had to create a superhero character based off of a famous graphic designer. i chose lippincott and transformed him into LIPPINTRON, corporate identity extraordinaire!

science notes

scan from my bio genetics notes. yes, kids in art school take "real" classes too. the teacher got into the subject of humans and fish. and i started imagining pretty mermaids. every sort of genetic map has a twisted mutation tossed in there, so why not anthropomorphic fish?

godzilla cat

a follow up to the previous post. of course i have no idea of knowing whether or not the guy had a cat, but this is what i'd imagine if he did have one.

the godzilla wrangler

i met a polite gent the other day. he wore cowboy-ish attire (which is a bit off for nyc) and expressed his undying love for godzilla with a subtle twang that made his 'stache dance. he tipped his head before exiting and i drew this after he left. i like drawing interesting people i meet.

pie in the sky

lately i've been drawing a lot of little pie characters because i've been going crazy trying to find a place in the city that has pumpkin pie. i've found pumpkin cheesecake and pumpkin pie flavored ice cream-- they're both great but it's not the same thing.
